Shepherd United Methodist is a meal site for Commission on aging’s Food with friends program. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, from 10am-2 join Leanne for a great meal and entertainment. If you’re interested please contact Leanne 989-828-5106 so she has an accurate headcount for meals. Thank you.

Countryside United Methodist Church is hosting a Gospel Jamboree October 7th, 2024. All are welcome to attend, 4264 S. Leaton Road. Open Mic and refreshments will be served.

Quilter’s group, Tuesday October 15th at 10 a.m. Quilt kits are provided, you make them and the quilts are donated to different area needs.
This is an important event for anyone who is holding a caregiver position. As we age we often find ourselves caring for parents or other loved ones and this information can help. Event has several guest speaker covering topics like, discussing play therapy in regards to dementia and Alzheimer’s, Caregiver burnout, Acceptance of change, and much more. Lunch is included with this event. Central Bay Districts Annual Pumpkin Farm Trip will be hosted Sunday, October 27th from 4-6p.m. All are welcome to attend this free event. There will be mazes, hay rides, games, donuts, cider and of course pumpkins!
